Fraudsters will use text messaging campaigns, also known as “smishing”, to obtain your credit card and personal information. A fraudster may ask you via text to settle an outstanding bill, pay to complete delivery of a package, or pay fines for missed tolls while traveling. It is important to stay vigilant and carefully confirm the sender is valid before responding or clicking on any links in a text message. Remember to keep your banking & personal credentials private when in doubt!
